 Covics
Business Solution Ltd. (Covics) was founded in 2000 in
Beijing, China. The company was the leading SAP National
Implementation Partner and Market Associate in China. In 2001,
Covics started to develop enterprise mobile business solutions and
stepped into the market of enterprise mobile solution. Due to the
contribution of developing and promoting enterprise mobile solutions
in China, Covics was authorized by the China Ministry of Information
Industry as one of the “National Telecom Value-added Service
Provider” and was authorized by the China Mobile Group and the China
Unicom Group as the “National Value-added Service Provider” in 2003.
In Sep 2005, Covics Business Solution split the SAP consulting
business into a new company (Shanghai Covics Business Solution
Ltd.). Since then, Covics Business Solution Ltd. (Beijing Covics)
has been focusing on developing and promoting mobile business
solution and service, while Shanghai Covics is focusing on
delivering SAP consulting services and developing SAP-related
solutions. Since 2000, Covics has provided services and solution to
about 600 large domestic enterprises and global business China
operations, including P&G, Avon, Abbott, Lenovo, Langchao, TCL,
Toshiba, Hitachi, Panasonic, Syngenta, IBM and Coca Cola, and more
than 100,000 SMEs in China. |

Shanghai Covics provides the following
solutions & services to enterprise clients: |
- SAP consulting services;
- Enterprise management consulting service;
- EasyBI solution as a business intelligence solution for SAP
clients;
- CSE solution based on SAP Best Practice for SME SAP clients.

Beijing Covics provides the following
solutions & services to enterprise clients: |
- Enterprise Mobility Engine (EMO) based on SMS & WAP
technology;
- Enterprise Mobile Portal (EMP) with SMS mobile search
engine;
- Enterprise mobile business operation hosting service (with
MII's permit).

Shanghai Covics is located in Shanghai with about 100 staff
(including 80+ SAP consultants and developers).
Beijing Covics has already set up four business offices in China,
located in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Huhhot with about 100
staff (including 60+ developers and support engineers). Dedicated
customer support Center has been set up in Guangzhou since Jan.
2004.
Covics has been emphasizing on business alliance for market
penetration and has built up tight partnership with global and local
IT companies, like SAP, IBM, T-Systems, HitachiJoho,
China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, etc. |
- In Oct. 2002, Covics was awarded by IDC as one of the “Heroes in IT
service in China”.
- In Jan. 2003, Legend Capital invested Covics.
- In May, 2004, Covics was authorized by the Ministry of Information
Industry of China as national wide telecommunication value-added
service provider (to provide enterprise mobile business service).
- In January, 2005, Covics was awarded by the “China National
Information Evaluation Center (NIEC)” as the “Best Enterprises
Recommended IT Service Company in China”.
- In January, 2006, Covics was awarded by SAP APA as one of the “Best
APA Channel Partner”.
- In February, 2006, Covics become one of the Strategic Partner of
Guangdong Mobile (the subsidiary of China Mobile Group in Guangdong
Province).
- 2007/02 Feb. 2007, Shanghai Covics was awarded by SAP as
“2006 SAP All-in-One Best Partner”,”2006 SAP All-in-One Best
Implementation” “2006 Best SAP All-in-One Solution”, “2006 SAP
All-in-One best team building” and “2006 SAP All-in-One Best
Sales”.
- 2007/07 July 2007, Beijing Covics became a Certified
Solution Integrator (SI) for ADC Business of the China Mobile
Group.
- 2008/04 April 2008, Shanghai Covics was awarded by SAP as
“2007 Most New Name” partner in China.
